I am cancelling my membership simply because I have moved and I am building a home gym, but I wanted to share feedback before closing my account. What I have loved: • The staff have always been warm, friendly, and helpful. • The classes are fantastic. The instructors are inclusive, motivating, and play great music. I appreciate the range of class styles and how they support different goals and fitness levels. • The atmosphere in the main areas of the gym feels energetic and positive. Opportunities for improvement: • The yoga studio feels quite dull and could benefit from a refresh or upgrades to create a more calming and inviting space. • The women’s section has no working TV or music playing, which makes it feel like an afterthought compared to the main gym rather than an equally cared-for space. • When I placed my son’s membership on hold for the summer, there was no notification that it would resume. A reminder email before reactivation would help parents manage timelines and avoid unwanted charges. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience at the Damien Warner gym and appreciate the effort your team puts into the member experience. I hope this feedback is helpful as you continue to grow and enhance what is already a great community gym.

The facilities are good and the classes are fun, but the receptionist working the night shift on Nov 15th — the blond girl who is on the thinner and taller side — really ruined my impression of this place. A few days ago, I came in to freeze my membership. She was the receptionist then too. She tried but said she was new, didn’t know how to do it, and since the store was closing in about half an hour, she told me to come back another day. It was extremely inconvenient, but I did understand this can happen so I left and made another trip here just for this. Then on Saturday night, the exact same thing happened. She was there again and still “didn’t know” how to freeze a membership. She also said they were closing early on Saturday and there were only 8 minutes left. Honestly, I was pissed. Basic tasks like freezing a membership should be handled by receptionist at anytime as long as the place is open. It was also surprising that she still didn’t know how to do this after those days, and still has no solution instead of let me come here another day. I was very pissed. so I expressed this and insisted that she call someone else who knew how to do it and help me. She gave me a side-eye and said it had only been two days since the last time I tried to freeze my membership with her, - seems that this was the reason she still didn’t know how to do it. Then she started reminding other clients that the place was going to close soon. While I was waiting, I had no idea if another staff member would come help, because she left me there without any communication. Luckily, another staff member showed up right before closing and froze my membership in 3 minutes — and taught her how to do it in those same 3 minutes. Meaning this could have been solved anytime in the last two days. I am not sure why you are hiring people with such limited customer service skills (needing me to request her to ask another coworker for help) and such limited learning ability (able to learn this in 3 minutes tonight but not after working here for days), or if this place is simply lacking proper training for new staff. Either way, this was really frustrating.

Best Value for any Gym in London - Access to two locations - Clean facility - diverse equipment - Access to Pool,Hot Tub, Sauna, steam room - access to a variety of Fitness classes - Friendly Staff Point lost because Operational hours are not ideal. The gyms close at 8pm on the week end. I am sure Clients are lost because of this.
