I visited for a conference this past week and it was great! Super easy to get to and a good location to walk to the conference and French Quarter. It was super easy and efficient to check in and the room was super clean and remodeled. The bed and linens were super comfortable as well. Also, we received great service from Steve H! He was super helpful in showcasing various promotions with Hilton on the way out as we were departing from our stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

Had a great experience at the hotel. I was there for a conference and found to my surprise that the convention center was almost connected if walking through the the Riverwalk Mall. I walked to my meetings everyday using this path. They had great bars that the staff was very attentive. Our room had a beautiful view of the river from the 24th floor. Steve H checked in with us midweek to make sure we had everything along with how are trip was on our departure. We walked down to the French Quarter each afternoon/evening for supper and felt pretty safe. I wouldn't recommend being out walking around that area after about 10pm though. While we were in town there were 5 people shot and a number killed in that area. Overall a great experience.

To be fair, I am only expressing my personal experience; it may have gone better for others. (For some reason, this property doesn’t accept team members' discounts with Honors unless you’re staying on the property). The bartender was short-tempered and rude in his delivery while I was starting my tab and paying on tap. I don’t think it had anything to do with the message; it's not what you say, but how you say it that gets your point across. Now I know I will not be staying at this property in the future. I came in to check out this hotel to get a feel for the place because I’ve heard many great things. I wanted to explore it for when my sister comes into town and for some cousins who are good tippers. Anyway, it’s not everyone else's fault. However, it did create a very uncomfortable experience. I’m not going to withhold a tip because I am in the service industry, but the staff should offer a more welcoming experience. I ordered the Apple Cider Mule and the half dozen chargrilled oysters. The food was delicious, and the drink was very tasty.

Phenomenal hotel with a gorgeous view of the river. I can't tell you how nice the people were that checked us in and accommodated us in every way and made us feel special. We are most grateful to the staff of this hotel entirely. If you're looking for an awesome stay in New Orleans I highly recommend the Hilton Riverside! Just a side down it is also very convenient to casinos, to town, to all the quarters and trolley service.
