Hodges Marine does a great job. They have a full inventory of products; and a pleasant and competent staff. They follow up when we customers have problems and they respond to inquiries. You can get products overnighted easier from other companies- but they are nice to work with.
Only reason i placed the order with Hodges is because of the same day shipping. I even called customer service after I placed the order to ask them to ensure the part goes out same day. Well 3 days later the label has been created (Package not in UPS possession yet). Don't fall for the "Same day Shipping" if you need a part urgently. Prices were the same as other websites.
Terrible customer service. I ordered a Ritchie compass from them with a damaged/unusable gasket in the packaging. Their response was it was still usable. See picture. Any price difference is not worth it.
