We stayed in Lexington for a country music festival and saw that this hotel had pretty good reviews. When we checked in, the man at the front desk was very kind. Unfortunately, the chairs, counters and carpets were so dirty your socks and feet turn black walking across the room. We couldn’t sit down without dirt and grime coming up on our clothes. Upon arrival, a man selling things followed our car around to our room and waited at the top of the stairs in front of our room door to try and sell us things. He was nice enough but it was uncomfortable. Seemed to do it to some other guests too. We ran out of towels and other amenities and when we called down to receive more we were told housekeeping would bring some up. Four hours later with no contact I head down to the lobby in which a new receptionist is yelling “how can I help you?” Over and over from a room I can’t see until he finally comes to speak to my face?? Says he called us to tell us we have to come get those things ourselves, been in the room all day and not a single call?? And why not just say that originally?¿ it’s in a great part of town and is close to everything but generally unclean and the customer service is poor. I wouldn’t pay what we paid again for the same experience:(

I am sharing this review to get either the management or the corporates of Extended Stay's attention. As far as the room and service are concerned, I have no complaints as I only know from a secondhand experience. A friend of mine stayed there while he was homeless briefly and he appreciated his stay there. Granted, he was in a very difficult situation. However, please reference the pictures. This hotel's location is adjacent to Lowe's. What is shown in the pics can not be seen from the hotel's point of view. They put all that trash behind their building and perhaps their trash bin facility, but since the back is open to Lowe's (on Richmond rd in Lexington, KY) parking lot, it is exposed to the patrons of Lowe's and neighbors of that area. It looks absolutely trashy, uncaring, and unprofessional. I have been a customer of this location Lowe's for many years, and its been like this as long as I can remember. Please kindly remove all the junk and make this area beautiful.

This is a place away from home! The rooms a clean and cozy. I love all the staff here as well. I do recommend this place anytime you are in town. Very close to downtown just around the corner from the interstate. Also the price is reasonable. Thank you guys for the pleasant stay!!! I will be back when I need to book another room!!!
