Customer experiences
This was the most expensive hotel on our entire drive from Florida to Colorado—and without question, the worst. I’ve stayed at many Wyndham properties over the years and usually go out of my way to book with them, but after this experience, we switched to Choice Hotels for the rest of our trip. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name attached to this property.||||The parking lot looked like a demolition site—scattered debris everywhere. The front office door wouldn’t even open unless we kicked it. Inside, the breakfast bar (right next to the check-in desk) had more flies than food options. The woman checking us in seemed annoyed we hadn’t reserved ahead and was clearly irritated that I asked to add my Wyndham Rewards number.||||After a grueling 16-hour day in a moving van, we finally got to our room—and if I hadn’t been with my boyfriend, I would’ve left immediately. I did not feel safe. The deadbolt didn’t work, and both flip-locks were broken off the door. There was painted duct tape covering the ceiling above the shower, and the lights had been torn out and replaced with a single LED strip hung up with command hooks. The bathroom door was painted so heavily it couldn’t even close, and the sink area outside the bathroom had a ceiling leak—there was water actively pooling on the floor.||||To top it off, the room next to us clearly had a sex worker operating out of it, with multiple half-naked men coming and going throughout the night.||||Since my boyfriend can’t drive and I was completely exhausted, we had no choice but to stay. I slept maybe four hours while he stayed up to watch the door. We were there for five hours, max—and that was five hours too many.||||This hotel is unsafe, unsanitary, and absolutely not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.
We booked one night through Interval World Travel. Our room did not look like any of the online photos. The door to our ground-floor room stuck and was hard to open and close. The room was not as clean as most hotel/motel rooms. The bathroom door had been painted a dark blue by someone who does not paint well within the lines. The ceiling also received wall paint in several areas. The carpet was torn and DIRTY. It failed the 'clean white sock' test.|Around 10:00 pm, guests checked into the room above us. We heard the children running in the room and the parents walking in and out as they unloaded the car. So be aware, there is No soundproofing between the levels.|There was also a gap between the frame and the room's door, letting in outside light.|We realized they were 'remodeling'; however, that is not an excuse for the condition of the room.|The 'free' breakfast was below average.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The gal at the front desk was interesting and she seemed to hang onto my ID for an extended period of time. She gave me my credit card back and continued to hold my ID until she gave me the room key which I thought was a little odd. We were just looking for a spot to stop over and sleep for a few hours so we would have a short drive home in the morning vs driving through the night. We check in at 11:00 pm, go to our room we were given, only to find out it was occupied! Poor guy had no idea what was going on when we tried to come busting in! Thankfully he had the deadbolt/security deal done so we didn't get all the way in the room. Still a rude awakening for him for sure! We go back and get assigned a different room that had a broken door latch. I'm not 100% sure that either of those doors actually locked, it had one out the back as well. The bathroom had an old vent taken out that was covered with duct tape and there appeared to be what looked like blood on the ceiling. There was also quite a bit of activity in the parking lot for midnight. We ended up booking a room at the quality inn and suites and moving. We were in our room maybe 30 minutes, it was that sketchy! I would not stop here period but I definitely would not stop here if you have kids! It might look decent in the pictures but all the side activity is a little uneasy! Oh and they have a bug zapper located above their cereal containers for the breakfast.
Room was ok except the tile was dirty, Carpet had holes in it. Building was dingy . Someone walking around upstairs at 3am . Stomping around for hours. Breakfast was good had great conversation with some Travelers. All in All we won’t be staying there again
