The stay was horrible. It felt like we were being rushed to leave the hotel the entire time. Every time we would step out they would ask what room number we were in and ask when we were checking out. At one point we stepped outside for about 10 minutes and when we tried to walk back in the hotel we were locked out with our key cards deactivated. We were ringing the service button to get in for about 5 minutes and had to start knocking on the door. When we finally got assistance they, again, asked for our room number, asked for the name, and then went to check the reservation again before letting us in from the cold (18 degrees with a "feel like" -3 degrees and im from Florida!). Everything was a hassle. The Towels looked dirty. The bed was broken. The water pressure on the sink was basically non existent. The shower made noises the entire time the water ran. For some reason they keep the coffee pot for the room in the bathroom which is disgusting. The hotel itself is extremely ran down and the customer service was atrocious. 0/10 do not recommend

The staff were both professional and attentive. They were friendly and helpful to our children, which is not always the case! The rooms have been updated, the beds are comfortable, and everything is clean. We had been a bit nervous, given that this hotel was cheaper than the others around it and Howard Johnson isn't exactly the newest hotel chain, but all of our misgivings faded once we saw the property and the room. Breakfast is a little sparse and the good stuff (yoghurt and muffins) disappeared early, leaving white toast, cereal, juice, and apples. It was still nice to have a little something in the morning. We had a microwave and refrigerator in our room, which was also nice. We weren't bothered by outside noises or sounds from neighboring rooms, so the rooms must be pretty well insulated. We did hear room doors make that loud clicking noise when they close, but no worse than other places. This property offers free parking, and is next to the Kentucky Expo Center. It is still about a 10- to 15- minute walk, just because of how huge the Expo Center campus is, but that is not bad at all, especially with free parking at the hotel. I would definitely stay here again, when in the area!

Great location near the American Hall. For business convention. Rooms are decent, the breakfast was lacking. Only had cereal and some fruit, but it was still available. Needs updating. The air wasn't on when we arrived, but after we came back and had turned it on. It was decently cold. Traffic can be hard outside of the front window, but it isn't too bad, motorcycle sounds were the worst. Overall a decent sleep but only would come here if nothing else is available next time.

Shame on u for not allowing a service dog and a disabled vet to stay at your hotel even though u allow pets. This isn’t just a pet. This is a service animal. The ADA needs to come and fine your company for not complying with ADA laws. It doesn’t matter how big the animal is if it’s a service animal, you’re not allowed to turn them away. This is not how we treat our military service personnel. Also keeping their money in the process is unacceptable. I do hope that the ADA uses your establishment as a warning towards other companies whom try the same thing and shows what will happen if they do. I nor anyone in my family and friends will ever use your company for our needs.
