We were here for a brief stay. The room was clean, had a large comfortable couch, and desk area with comfortable desk chair. The bathroom is split with a private shower and toilet with the sink separated. Mini fridge, microwave and bar sink with ice bucket available. Wifi is reliable and fast.

Positive: Hospitality of receptionist and manager, clean rooms, well chlorinated pool and clean pool area, gluten free muffins at breakfast, good coffee in lobby, late check out. Negative: Of the first rooms we were assigned, one had an odor (119) and the other an improperly locked window on the first floor but the staff allowed us to quickly change rooms. The staff was professional and cheerful about it too.

I’m a loyal Marriott member and this hotel is missed the mark. The pool area smells dreadful like mold and it is visible in the air vents. My room had mold growing in the closet and peeling chipping paint from high humidity. There’s no ventilation or exhaust. The tub wouldn’t drain. The whole 2nd floor of the hotel smells like must and mold. The place is a health hazard.

We stayed here on our way back from visiting the nearby state park. We wanted to like it, but the worn out rooms and poor quality breakfast just weren't very nice. The first room had a sagging bed, grout was coming out from the tiles in the bathroom, the wallpaper was peeling and hanging, and the room smelled bad. The desk clerk was gracious and gave us another room. The bed was better, and the grout intact, but the wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was noticably dirty. There was a reference to this hotel being remodeled a couple of years ago, and it was half done then, but I saw no evidence of it. The breakfast sandwiches were over microwaved and had been sitting so long that the bottom was hard and the top soggy. Inedible. There were English muffins, cinnamon bagels and gluten free muffins. But it was substantially poorer quality than I have seen. In short, it's a tired establishment that is due for a refresh to be competitive.
