Holiday Inn Louisville Downtown by IHG

You get what you pay for! Don't do it. Unlike the reviews that say 'comfy bed', 'friendly staff', etc. By far the worst place I have ever stayed and shocked that Wyndham would allow this hotel to be a part of their chain of hotels. Positives: Plenty of places to park and close to the freeway. Not so great/awful: Not clean, shower had black hair in it; one small shampoo, my card had to be 'reinstated' to get into the room; double lock on door not attached/broken; coffee (even if you are not a snob, it was terrible); flies all over the room, and I did not sleep in the bed, didn't trust it. It just is not too par for what one would expect, whether you are from the USA or not. Also, the owners were outside arguing about a construction bill with the construction crew. It was clear that the owners want a lot for less and are 'thrifty' or just downright do not know how to operate a hotel correctly. Good news though. Yes, Patti's, down the road, they are awesome. Go there! So worth it. This is a place that is the deal. Just don't stay here............at Day's Inn, Calvert City, Kentucky.

Positive: "" Negative: The hotel was fine for the price. However, the room I was given appeared clean until I went to take a shower. The tub, floor, and toilet had hair all over. The bed was decent and I did get decent rest.

Awesome rooms. Clean beds. No bugs. Not a warm breakfast but thats ok. 9/10
