Customer experiences
Molood should never work there ever again. This parfume box only had pictures of bottles so we asked her to confirm and she confirmed that it was right. When we opened the box it wasn't the case, so we tried to return it but she didn't accept it even though she admitted that she misunderstood the question. On top of that, she tells me things like: it's common sense, how can that many bottles fit in there, think about it, etc. The bottles could have been in miniature sizes and that is exactly why we asked to make sure because it didn't make sense. Molood misunderstood my question and based on her response, i decided to purchase the product. If i was given the correct information upfront, i would have never bought this. Paying $145+hst for 12 small 1.2ml viles is ridiculous. To also be told to have "common sense" and "how could i expect the 12 bottles to fit there" is incredibly rude and belittling. She then looped in the cosmetics manager who mentioned that the box is final sale, which was also not relayed to me by Molood. The manager told her that the no returns information was on a sign at the corner of the counter, which was never explained nor shown to me before the purchase. This was also not written anywhere on the box or receipt. Very unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour on her part. Beyond the return, this will be escalated as that behaviour to a customer will not be tolerated. It now makes sense why the store has 3.2 stars and many are leading to the same issue - CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Avoid this shoppers drug mart in 14729 Yonge Street aurora I went to this location buy rubber stimulator for gum I Google this item, it is showing for sale at shoppers drug Mart for $4.59 but this location sell it for $4.79 it’ priced 4.5% more than google I searched. This is not wise because when consumers want to buy anything they search online. Then i went to shoppers drug Mart in Richmond Hill i found this rubber stimulator for gum price is $4.59.same as i searched on google.Reason number 2 for avoiding this location: I don’t think the owner is friendly to people two or three years before during Christmas season the owner order about $200 dollars pizza for delivery this is timed order. Delivery at peak hours at 7 pm he requested the pizza driver must deliver all pizza to lunch room at second floor I remembered . The pizza driver delivered on time and behaved friendly .but the owner paid with card with 0 dollars tips. I guess the owner ordered pizza for staffs of shoppers drug mart it was very nice. But I was wondering why he doesn’t want tipping for the pizza driver. My suggestion is to this shoppers drug mart if you labeled the price is wrong change to proper price it shows on google if you over priced it will not be last longer to the consumers.
Terrible experience with this pharmacy! I was sent to this Shoppers location after another store ran out of an over-the-counter medication I needed for my toddler. It was late in the evening, and I had a cranky child who needed some relief. At the previous pharmacy, the pharmacist confirmed that there is an over-the-counter option available for her symptoms, so I didn’t need to wait until morning to see a doctor. However, when I arrived here, the pharmacist checked his screen and insisted there was no such OTC medication and that I would need a prescription instead. I tried to recall the name of the product the other pharmacist had mentioned, but instead of helping, he gave me a condescending look, lowered his voice, wrote down the name of a prescription drug, and sent me away — assuring me that no OTC option existed. Right after leaving, I called another pharmacy, and guess what? They did have the OTC medication, and I was able to pick it up immediately. Not only did Shoppers lost business, but this experience showed a serious lack of product knowledge and customer care, resulting into loss of customers in future too! Please train your staff better — families rely on accurate information, especially when it comes to children’s health.
If I could give this location negative stars I would. The treatment I received this evening was nothing short of blatant disrespect. I went to return a product, which I purchased based on information given from a sales associate, Molood, to be met with complete belittlement and disrespect. I was told that I should have had “common sense”, “how could I have thought that the item could fit in this box”. The return policy was never communicated to me, and the question I asked was apparently misunderstood by the sales associate - which was the reason I purchased it. Which by the looks of it, seems as though I was completely misinformed/uninformed. To speak this way to a customer in 2025 is outrageous. I have read through a lot of the 1 star reviews here and have seen some replies mentioning that “customer service is a top priority” but this isn’t what I was shown at all. If this is what Shoppers stands by, you all need to really look into the customer service standards that are taught in the onboarding journey and that they are actually instilled in your workers and communicated to the customers. Disgusting service and awful location.
Hollandview Pharmacy is a pharmacy.
