Home Place Inn Extended Stay Motel

I stayed at Baymont by Wyndham located at 149 Willowbrook drive in Brooks Kentucky 40109 on October 7th and 8th. The first day I got there I took my granddaughter to the pool and there was boys in there harassing her telling her their dad had a gun and he would shoot her the manager made him vacate the premises with the police. Come to find out the next day by the manager's grandson that them people had been there for a week and caused multiple problems with other people. The room had mold all around the toilet in the bathroom, toilet was leaking, human hair and dirt caked up all around the floor in the bathroom and on the baseboard, towel had stains on them, garbage can was nasty, microwave had food all over the inside of it not properly cleaned, there was a used straw beside my granddaughter's bed, part of the wall is missing near the entrance to the bathroom, refrigerator had dirt caked up beside it and underneath of it, there was an ant in my bed, the bed covers were wet including the sheets, the carpet was also damp, the air conditioner vent had mold built up on it mixed with dirt and there was a fowl smell in the room. When I called down to the front desk the first night and asked to be moved to another room they told me they were completely booked therefore I was stuck in that room. I had nowhere else to go so I was forced to stay there because my home was being worked on. I did not take a shower while I was there nor did my granddaughter and I dried the sheets with the hair dryer so my granddaughter had a place to sleep I slept in the chair. Just imagine how that feels on someone who has had back surgery and numerous health issues including my back and neck. I asked the manager Theresa about reimbursing me for one night but she said she was not allowed to do that. She said she could only give me 20% back. That is unacceptable. I want at least half of my money back and I honestly should be asking for all of it.

I had made an advance reservation for this hotel, but my check-in experience was awful, and I eventually asked for a refund and went elsewhere for the night. After checking in at the front desk, I went to use the restroom off the small lobby, next to the enclosed pool area. I was horrified to walk in and find that the previous user(s) had left a filthy accident all over both the floor and the toilet. After notifying the desk clerk, who apologized and said something about kids who'd been playing in the pool, I proceeded to my room. I walked in to find the bed unmade, and went to notify the desk clerk (he seemed perplexed), and to ask for a different room. The next room smelled like cigarettes, so I asked for yet another room. Upon finding out that only a second floor room was available, but no elevator, I decided just to leave the place entirely. The clerk apologized again, and gave me a refund. Do not stay at this hotel unless you are desperate!

One of the worst hotels we ever stayed in. Smelled like mold/mildew. Rooms had stains on bedding . Bathrooms are extremely small. No coffee make in rooms. Employees would just walk in your room without knocking if you didn't have the door fully closed. Breakfast was minimal at best only a waffle maker cereal or toast or muffin was your breakfast choices. No ac in dining area was super hot. We brought down our own breakfast to make.
