Walking to the transportation center on my way out of town and was hoping to easy at bread and friends, but sadly their kitchen was closed! Picked this randomly as it had good reviews and was open early l. Not disappointed at all, the corned beef hash Benedict was great. Egg was cooked properly, the house made hash was many steps above a typical diner hash:) Grits were nice and creamy.

This might be one of the best breakfast places I have ever been to. The staff's interaction with me and the other customers made it even more enjoyable. The food had so much flavor and texture. I will definitely back at some point.

First time in Portland. This place was great. Super yummy food and good service! Would definitely return here. Nice local art on the walls, that you can also purchase.

Halle Brickhouse

My husband and I visited here on our trip and it did not disappoint. The food is amazing (we got the mother clucker & the chicken and waffles), the coffee is superb, and the service was also great. If you’re looking for a brunch spot in the Portland area, this place is a must!
