Hotel Grinnell

As I drove x-country, I needed a clean, safe, and friendly place to stay. Staff was helpful, welcoming, and the room was great. Very interesting building and renovation! Loved the food and loved the hot coffee in the morning! A perfect buffet! Also, thanks for the Veteran's Discount!

I stayed at Hotel Grinnell at the end of September 2025. What a wonderful gem in the middle of Iowa. As a Choice Privileges member, I appreciate how well they treat the members, especially when a misunderstanding of Privileges points are used, and how quickly that was resolved. The rooms are terrific, great modern decor, comfortable and clean. The entire hotel is fascinating because of its history and the renovation is awesome. The restaurant and patio is also great, great food and cocktail menu, wonderful and friendly service. I will stay here again next time i'm anywhere near central Iowa!

The hotel is very cool. It was created from an old school building and has that school vibe. Rooms are nice, very clean and modern, beds are super comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an onsite restaurant and bar. Only had drinks there, but the bar staff was super. It has a cool lounge area. I had to leave at 5 am each day and there was fresh coffee in the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel.
