Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, and it was a relaxing getaway with a great mix of comfort, scenery, and service. The resort is set along the beachfront, so waking up to the sound of waves and sea views was a highlight. The property is spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped, giving a calm, tropical vibe. My room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and facing the forest. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with check-in, recommendations, or any requests. Facilities like the pool, gym, and beach access are excellent, and the environment is family-friendly while also suitable for couples seeking a quieter stay. The resort’s location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions in Kuantan, including Teluk Cempedak Beach and local markets.

The room was clean and the location is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, though the taste was just average. Overall, it’s a nice place for quality time and you can definitely spend the whole day at the hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency. From arrival, everyone was warm and welcoming. And my sister even compliment that those front office staff was so charming. Special thanks to Mr Alif, who was was efficient during check-in and kindly arranged an upgrade to a connected seaview room where I booked an additional room for my sister, which truly made the stay feel like a family trip. Thank you to Mr. Clement for the breakfast arrangement for being alert, Angeline and Liza for their constant smiles and friendly service. Actually all staffs at Front Office and Kampung Restaurant were excellent. Besides, the breakfast selection was generous and delicious, compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The only major issue was the room soundproofing, which I understand is due to the design, hopefully there’s any other way to improve on it. Other than that, the service and cleanliness were top-notch.
