IndigoSpirit - Oakville

I had a very unpleasant experience on September 13th. I arrived at 6:52 to sell clothes, and the girl told me they were already closed, and the map indicated they closed at 8:00. She simply refused to help me; she turned around and walked away. Plus, the girls were just chatting among themselves; they didn't seem to want to be interrupted. I shopped again yesterday because I love this store, but the checkout process was the same. It took a long time to serve me. They should replace the staff.

I visited Once Upon a Child yesterday with a large box of toys that my kids no longer play with. They accepted only about half of the items and offered me $32, which I declined, especially since one of the toys alone was worth $30 and still unopened in its original packaging. They also took some of the mini figurines I brought in and placed them in their store’s plastic bags, only to later take them back, saying they needed the bags to reuse or recycling. I found that odd. What really bothered me was how one of the staff members handled the situation she was quite aggressive and rude, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, I left disappointed and don’t plan to return.

I had such a great experience at Once Upon a Child, all thanks to one of their amazing employees Anamika. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She patiently guided me through the store, answered all my questions, and even offered thoughtful suggestions based on what I was looking for.
