Italy Direct Clothing on Royal Street is a hidden gem in the French Quarter! After being turned away from a music event for wearing gym shorts and a tank top, I desperately needed a quick, affordable outfit change. A hasty Google maps search led me to this vintage Italian boutique, and thank goodness they were open at 9:30 PM during the busy Super Bowl weekend! Brandon, the salesperson, was an absolute lifesaver—he helped me pick out stylish dress pants and a shirt within my budget, even hemmed the pants on the spot, and threw in some cologne samples to complete the look. His attention to detail and genuine care saved my night. The store’s location is perfect, the selection is impeccable, and the service is unmatched. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Earlier today I was frantically looking for a dress shop to buy something to change into. I stepped into Italy direct and was instantly intrigued. The very lovely sales associate, Alex, the pretty girl with blue eyes, immediately greeted me. She was so kind and helpful, and picked out the perfect dress for me. She totally got me to buy a second one as well. Big kudos to whoever hired her. I will definitely be back in New Orleans soon, and Italy direct will be one of my first stops.

Confirm the prices before you pay. We went in last night looking for dress shirts for my boyfriend, I saw a sale rack that said “no matter the price on the tag these are $39”. I picked a dress, my boyfriend didn’t love the silhouette, so the attendant helped me find other dresses. I didn’t like any of them as much as the first one so I decided to get it. I told my boyfriend I’ll pay for it but he bought it with his shirts. We were charged $200 for what I thought was a $39 dress. It’s a lovely dress, but nothing amazing that I would pay $200 or even $100. He’s very happy with his dress shirts though.

Wow, what an experience and the customer services was through the roof!! They were more concerned with ensuring that I felt and looked good in my new coats. Walked out with (3) and wished I would have bought another (2)!! Will be back for sure, great experience.
