JA The Resort - JA Palm Tree Court

We have just returned from 7 nights at the JA Palm Tree court. We travelled with friends. We usually stay on the Palm or JBR Beach so this was a bit different for us, the resort is really quite isolated and as such we felt like we could have been anyway. The hotel is very family friendly, there were a lot of families with young children. It's one of the older hotels in Dubai and i think as such it doesn't have the 'glitz & glamour' of Dubai, but it does have a nice laid back feel and not pretentious at all. We stayed all inclusive and i have to say it was probably the best AI package we've ever had, the food in the speciality restaurants was exceptional. we really enjoyed White Orchid, Sette & Kinara. We enjoyed breakfast & lunch in Tamr. We tried the buffet breakfast La Fontana once and it wasn't for us, the quality was definitely missing there. All the staff are wonderful and very friendly. We enjoyed the mini golf, badminton and Padel (charge of padel court was reasonable at £20), we did go to the shooting club for some shooting and a meal, you have to get a mini bus as its not onsite. The resort although quite old, is kept in perfect condition, but there is nothing around so nowhere to walk to or explore. I'm a runner so had to stick to laps of the golf course. The only thing that bothered us and i'm amazed that others haven't mentioned this, was the noise made by the peacocks (we are used to peacocks, we have them near where we live), but they roost at night on the balconies and roofs and start 'honking' about 5am, it was honestly so loud and woke us all week. Maybe it was mating season and they don't usually make so much noise, i mean they are pretty, but the noise was really annoying at the crack of dawn, i ended up wearing ear plugs!. We had a lovely week at the JA Palm, i'm not sure if we would return, the AI was excellent, but the location was an issue and travelling as adult couples the family friendly element wasn't really for us (maybe more adult only pools/bars?) . But great job by management and staff, a great hotel/resort and i can understand why so many people return.

We have the most fabulous stay at the JA Palm Court. The resort is stunning and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The half board option allowed us to roam around the 3 hotels for dinner and included a 3 course meal. The pool areas were clean and offered plenty of loungers and space for all guests. There is a lovely walk around the resort and golf course which we did daily. It is most definitely a perfect spot for a family getaway! Special mention to Hit and Albert who were always on hand to help us get around the resort and always greeted us with a warm smile. We highly recommend this resort for your future holiday to Dubai.

This place is great for families, kids and the resort really is well designed! The rooms are spacious, lots of lush greenary and landscaping, waterfalls and beautiful|Peacocks 🦚 all around the place. We booked a ground floor garden room, but would have preferred to be closer to the beach/Seaview but ground floor. The place does get busy but it’s manageable. The breakfast was available at 2 places (buffet or set menu) and both were very good! ||There’s a kids club, just splash water play, water park, walking distance to several pools, sports bar and much more on the grounds. An elevator for those with strollers or wheel chair access. Valet does get busy so be sure to wait a little, for buggies too but the staff are all very pleasing and helpful. ||The bedsheets were super silky and soft, loved the pillows and screen share on the LG tv so we could watch Netflix streamed from our mobile. Japenese tea in the room facilities were also very well appreciated’ the peppermint tea was my favorite! ||The only downside to the entire place was we weren’t able to get a booking for dinner at white orchid and they didn’t do much to help us either, even though we mentioned we’re fast eaters and will be in and out in 30 mins! So you must book day in advance I assume, not same day. ||Other than that Ayah (1 yr toddler) loved it, and so did we (couple). ||Overall it’s a great place to stay! Thanks a lot 😍🥰
