To be honest, this company was good in the beginning, respectful and good on time with filing but now they are the absolute WORST! I truly would not recommend them. This is a family business and they are terrible in communication and getting taxes done on time like they were suppose. There are two white women that are receptionist that lied on me, claiming that I was rude to them. All my business calls are recorded, I double check and listen back to my calls, and that NEVER happened. I was never rude to those females. The conversations was quick and straight to the point. I truly believe, because I requested to speak to Matt only and wanted only his help, that pissed them off. They lied, and created an issue because of their own ideology of me, premediated silently attacking my character. Without discussing it with me, The owner, of the company and Matt told me that they are letting me go as a client, becuase of that matter. Leo (one of the female receptionist), claimed she called me back and has been trying to reach me, and she never did. Andrew (Owner) and Matt, never respected me as a long time client of 4+ years to reach out to me in email or phone call, to discuss this matter. Instead, they dropped me without hearing me out. As they stated "if my staff said that you were rude to them on several occasions, I would believe them". I only had two interactions in total with those females. When I tried defending myself the owner, told me, he doesn't have time to waste to talk to me further and hung up on my face. I would not come here at all. If they can do this to me, trust me they will do it to you as well, especially if not more, a person of color. Also, since Paul injured himself the amount of filing takes months, last year it took almost the whole year for them to file. Doing business this way is unacceptable. Please go elsewhere, if you are considering them, please. These negative reviews are accurate, guys.

Absolutely horrific! Started off great with a personal referral but then when that person had to unfortunately go on disability I was moved over to the rest of the firm where for over 18 months they dodged over 50+ phone calls, countless emails and the only way I got any service was by actually going to the office and demanding it! Then recently, while once again waiting, I got a call asking if they were going to be working on my 2023 return. Which as of my last meeting with them I had assumed was the case since I uploaded all my info into their portal. Well not only did they NOT work on it, THEY NEVER FILED THE RETURNS FOR THE TWO YEARS PRIOR! Then when I was transferred to someone, claiming to be an authority figure there, they called me unruly and difficult then hung up on me! I called back to question if I was really hung up on and was promptly told that I was and that I was fired as a client. I was fired? I tried to call my original contact but it was redirected to this person who continued their unprofessional nature of hanging up and accusing me, the client, of doing them wrong. Well due to the unprofessional nature of avoiding me for almost two years, not filing my returns and now hanging up on me I took to the CT CPA governing body and found out that they ARENT A CPA firm at all! Be extremely careful if you considering using these guys! They totally screwed me!

What started as a good experience didn’t end as one. As a new business owner, Paul and his staff were not informative. I’d really say this office is moreso good for filing your taxes, like an H&R Block, than anything else. At one point I couldn’t log into the portal they have, all I needed was my 2022 tax returns to print, I reached out via email, no exaggeration it took about 2 weeks to get them to send it to me. I’d leave a message with Paul’s assistant, Matt, and/or Amy (I believe her name was) who answered the phones there if Paul wasn’t in, I’d be told they’d relay the message, a week later I still wouldn’t hear from anyone. Overall lack of and horrible communication, frustrating to work with, and the reason I ended up obtaining a new accountant.
