Usually have a great experience here, on most days wonderful and helpful staff, great range of stock - however, I went in today to pick up my normal bits and had a subpar experience. The cashier was quite standoffish and didn’t greet anyone entering the same way that the other staff members do, as well as taping my paper bags shut without asking prior (which wouldn’t have been a huge problem if it didn’t lead to the bag ripping while carrying it home resulting in wasted product). Quite unsatisfied with my experience today considering how lovely it usually is to shop there.

When I was last in London about 7 years ago, there weren't any real zero-waste stores. I am SO pleased to see that there are now quite a few of them. I am staying in Clapton, London, and made my way over to this great shop along with my reusable bags and containers. They that had an excellent selection of products - including some frozen bulk fruits and vegetables. Nicely laid out, very clean, and the staff person was quite knowledgeable. Please consider supporting these businesses. It is so important to send a message to the standard grocery stores - we do not want all the packaging that you constantly push onto us.
