I gave in and accepted the realization that I should stick to the presentation of magic and leave the graphic design and branding element, of my brand new venture Kingston Magic Theatre, up to a true and proper professional. A very hard pill to swallow, for someone like me... but I did it and I now understand how important it is to share your vision with others and let the true professionals do what they do BEST! In an effort to work with a true local artist and designer I reached out to Jason Rees of Jaybird Digital Arts and inquired about collaborating on a poster design for some of my upcoming public performances. I was absolutely amazed to see how receptive and eager Jay was to work with me and Kingston Magic Theatre given his current schedule (this guy is designing for everyone, I mean everyone), his attitude about understanding my business and vision and his immediate ability to put my (ill explained) thoughts and basic words into a design that SPEAKS Kingston Magic Theatre... As a result of this stunning new logo and the relationship I have formed with Jay... I am stoked to say that we will be working on more projects in the very near future. His creativity, professionalism, value and down right quality has earned him my highest recommendation! If you are ever in a position to have design work done...
