A trucker with this company tried to run my entire family off the road on our way to visit family for the holiday season just because he was impatient with letting cars go around him when he had his left signal on. I was traveling down I-24, heading East from Chattanooga to Nashville when I approached the truck from behind, in a long line of traffic. As I neared the truck I pulled into the left hand lane, with traffic, to get around. When I got right to the back left corner of the truck, I became aware that the truck had it's blinker on, and was trying to get around another semi-truck in front of it. The vehicle in front of me, which was clearly blocking the truck from pulling over began to speed up in order to get around, and I followed suit. Before I was 10 feet forward, and before the car in front of me had cleared the way for the truck - meaning 2 cars were blocking the lane from him being able to pull over, HE BEGAN PULLING OVER ANYWAY!!!! The car in front of me swerved into the median to dodge the cab as it clearly had intention of running him off the road, AND ME!!! The car in front of me was able to floor it to zip around, but I was not, forcing me off the road, into the median, while I have two small children in the car with me. I was able to get around safely, thank God, and as soon as I did began slowing down again to be able to get the information from the truck. When the trucker realized this was my intent, he slowed down to 30 mph on a 70mph highway in order for me not to be able to get the info, and then purposefully blocked me from being able to pull off at a Rest Stop by pulling into the exit ramp (to completely block me), and then pulling BACK ONTO THE HIGHWAY instead of exiting!!! To say that this was malicious, vindictive, careless, and dangerous driving is an understatement to say the last. I will be providing the information of the driver to the company in hopes that he is fired, immediately. With drivers like this on the road, nobody is safe.
Would recommend for booking loads. Have booked loads with Ryan Transport for a couple years now with no issues. Overall good communication with the team.
Beware dangerous drivers. Driver blew through a four way red light at Byron Center and 100th heading westbound on June 16th at approximately 10:45am. Driver nearly hit two vehicles with the right of way northbound and southbound. Reported to DOT.
