I've been going to Jini for almost 10 years and every time, I'm satisfied with my hair cut. Though I get the same style, it's always fresh and stylish! I get lots of compliments after an haircut. I can get my hair cut every 6 months as the way it's cut keeps the style looking good. I highly recommend Jini!

I've been going to Jini for over 5 years. She does great work and is always very nice and communicative. I've always had a hard time finding someone who knows how to cut straight hair that Asians tend to have, but ever since the first time Jini has done a great job. Finding availability can be a little difficult sometimes but as long as you book a week or two in advance it usually isn't an issue.

I went to see Jini a couple of days ago. It was a rainy day and she welcomed me with a bright smile. She is very sweet and personable. My friend recommended her and I am glad she did! She asked me many questions what I wanted and executed well! I just looked at my side view again and couldn’t believe how much I love my hair cut. Just perfect layer I wanted and I look 5 years younger. Added lots of volume without cutting too much off. Thanks Jini and my friend says she will go see you soon :)

Today I tried Jini’s Hair Salon in Beaverton. I don’t know if Jini didn’t understand what I wanted or couldn’t do it unless it was a bob. I kept showing pictures of what I wanted and then supporting photos of the vibe, the styling, the limits, etc. Jini not only ignored my requests; she also told me what she was doing was the only thing possible and if I wanted it to look like the photo, I would need to go home and style my hair like the photo. I think, in her polite way, she was arguing with me that the haircut WAS the one in the picture. I can’t remember the last time I left a salon sobbing. Half my hair was on the ground—and it wasn’t the correct half of my hair. I now have a short, flat bob with a middle part. There is literally a chunk missing on the right side of my head. I went in with the goal of blending damaged hair in the back. Instead, I got a weird crooked bob. She gave me a $5 discount, probably because I was starting to cry. I still tipped $10. My daughter had an appt an hour after me . After my daughter saw my butchered hair, she refused to let Jini touch her hair. We had to find a last-minute walk-in to find someone to cut her hair before leaving town tomorrow. Bouffant found room for her and did an excellent job. Later Jini called, asked where we were, and then informed me she was charging us for the cancellation policy even though I explained to Jini that my daughter had been watching and photographing my haircut. Not only did my kid leave the building asap, she begged me not to let Jini touch her hair. My child is 13 and saw her mom’s hair completely trashed. To force her to undergo the same trauma and to charge me for it is unconscionable. Jini may be excellent at some things, but unless you want a permed bob, I’d do more research.
