We had such a great stay at the Jolly Roger! Our room was small but very clean and comfortable, and we were welcomed by incredibly friendly staff right from the start. We spent time at the restaurant and bar, and the food was excellent. The mac and cheese sticks were hands down the best we’ve ever had, and the butter chicken was also fantastic. The bartenders Aryan and Neha were incredible and beyond welcoming. They made us a house-special concoction drink that was amazing, and we also tried the local craft Jolly Lager beer — both were excellent. We played darts and pool and the bartenders were happy to put the hockey game on for us and had great music playing all night. Everyone was absolutely incredible — so welcoming, friendly, and great to chat with. They truly made our night and made us feel right at home. The entire lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which we really appreciated and added to the cozy atmosphere. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

OK, so here's my honest review. We came for new years and stayed for 2 days. We stayed in a suite, the suite itself was great, but everything but the bed was dated very dated. Jacuzzi tub was peeling and the jets, well there but not great. Large bathroom with a bidet though was a nice touch, it definitely could be cleaner looking. The shower pressure was not awesome and shower head not high enough for a tall person. My advice when someone is staying for more than a night, 2 bottles of water is not enough nor is 1 pack of coffee. They did bring us more right away. Our friends came and surprised us, they did not have the greatest experience from a regular room. Hot water issues, toilet issues and although the hotel was pretty much empty they were put beside a room with a baby. Now for the poor service review part. Employees there were for the most part very impersonal. Walkways were not shoveled, most pathways were built up with ice, pool hallways and area very cold. Pool not so bad. I think there could be a better use for squash court. New years party we had tons of fun, live music was good but could've been a little less folky for that kind of venue for sure. Food for new years was less than awesome, we had better food the next night for dinner for sure. Our server was great, arean your awesome. Dome is a nice touch. Also the restaurant, we had to eat as much as possible in the morning as the restaurant wasnt open til 5:30, should be options for food in between. The fire pit area we probably wouldve used if we didnt have to shovel it out first. I have worked in a resort in the muskoka area for some years and there is huge potential for this place but not until huge improvements are made.

The service was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in every way. The location is amazing. The Inn is located right beside the 400 highway near Parry Sound and is easy to access as well as to leave for wherever you wish to go. It is surprisingly quiet. They have a playground for kids and an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool. We were disappointed to learn that the indoor pool was out of service. They have a hot tub and sauna too. The rooms are large and clean. I think that they are in the process of renovating the rooms as my friend's room was much nicer than mine. Like all hotels, they do not offer daily maid service. I would suggest that they supply the rooms with double the number of coffees, teas, shampoos, conditioners ect. This is a family friendly Inn where the prices are reasonable.

The staff here is fantastic. They r all so very helpful. Made all our little ones feel right at home and offered ice cream at every meal...lol which they loved! Every meal was fantastic with great portions. Everywhere is very clean. The only wish was that the hot water was a bit hotter..but other then that it was a great time had for all.
