Josey Medical Clinic

Yesterday was only my second visit. The first visit was annual physical. The doctor was wonderful. He took his time with me, answered all my questions and explained all in detail. Yesterday when i called to get an appointment the nurse said he was booked, but took down my symptoms and name and said she would call if cancellation. She called me 5 minutes later and got me in. I feel the doctor is always the same way. When he came in he listened to what i had to say and talked to me . I never felt rushed even though i know they squeezed me in.. I love this doctor i hope he never retires!! All the nursing staff are wonderful as well.

This is not a complaint on the medical staff. I arrived to my appointment only to be told it would be canceled because they had not received an imaging result. It’s highly inconsiderate to not call ahead of time and let me know before arriving to my appointment. I drove over an hour away and missed time from work. I wished the front desk staff would have made me aware before wasting my time. Now I have to come back another day.

The Lady who I spoke with on a Monday regarding scheduling the appointment, Glen (I believe was her name), was very nice and friendly, and very accommodating to our needs. She got in touch with me the next morning as expected and scheduled the appointment for that afternoon. I really appreciate her patience and assistance with the urgency needed. Later in the week when the test results were in, and I called to notify that we wanted to pick up the original forms that the doctor filled out and signed, the lady in that department was very short with me and not friendly at all. She said she had already spoken to my son, and had emailed the forms as well as already faxed them to the number on the form, but didn't give me an opportunity to let her know that a signature from the patient was missing...She seemed annoyed and was abrupt and rude. My son, the patient, said she was really short with him as well. Overall, a good experience as long as you don't need documents back.
