» Customer Experiences:
I recently had all four tyres replaced at Halfords Auto Centres and couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Mark took care of everything from start to finish and was absolutely brilliant. He was professional, knowledgeable, and explained the whole process clearly, which really put me at ease. The work was carried out efficiently, and my car was ready exactly when promised. It’s clear he takes real pride in doing a thorough job. The whole experience was smooth, stress-free, and excellent value for money. I’ll definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend this centre—especially if you can book in with Mark!
I thought they was a good place, turns out they are just interested in money, i had a service here not long ago which i thought was great, turns out they left the old rubber seal in and installed a new oil filter ( it has 2 seals one old and one new which lead to the leak) which left it to leak oil which was not picked up till my next mot, I had a MOT near Christmas here it failed , ( failed for airbag light and lump in tyre) which is fine i got them fixed else where, the faliure was not the issue, It was right to fail as it Generally did have those faults , BUT what was incorrect on my MOT was the advisories, They told me my Ball joints has “slight play” and “ seized” and needed to be replace and quoted me nearly £600 and told me i had “badly Buckled wheels” aswell and my battery was almost “dead” Which was not the case as the battery is almost brand new and i drive over 140 miles a day on the motorway so it definitely gets a good charge, so i went to my trusted local garage ( The garage walton) and was told nothing wrong with my ball joints or track rods, and my Wheels was fine , infact halfruads didnt even tighten my wheel nuts to the correct torque - moral of the story is Halfruads is a franchise and have sales to hit, They are also a PART SELLER - KEY WORD PART SELLER - go to your trusted local garage it will be cheaper and better quality work, if you are near walton or weybridge or surrounding areas go to (the garage walton) as they are very good and honest people, only get your parts from Halfords never get any-work done
After replaced four tyres, I realised My locking wheel key wasn't in the car. I called them the following day, they told there wasn't the locking wheel key. After that, I've checked the all tyres and found there was not the lockijg wheel nut for all four tyres. I don't know where the nuts/key was gone during half an year, I just visited one jaguar garage in new malden due to charging issue and replaced tyre from here. But, obviously, when I replaced tyre, there was no comment for this from Harlford and also no suggestion to fit any normal nuts instead. Just got the completion email without issue. Can't understand their situation.
