Plenty of items on the menu and the service was fast. The chips and salsa was great. I do think it's a bit overpriced for what it is. Got the chicken enchiladas with red sauce and it was mediocre, not a fan of that red sauce.
Such an amazing spot to enjoy! Their super burrito is HUGE and the tacos are a very healthy serving. The lime wine margarita was a solid drink choice. The waiters here are so kind and happy to strike up a conversation and share a laugh with you. The prices are great, the food is great, and the parking was easy!
Anyone who grew up in the Bay Area would know about this Mexican gem: Juan's Place. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I am profoundly grateful this place still stands. They make wonderful dishes but my go to dish that I can never change is their Enchiladas. Reason being is that there is something about the Enchiladas sauce that makes it differently then all of the other Mexican places. I would just want a bowl of the Enchiladas sauce. I love the Verde sauce too, when I am in the mood but there is something about the red sauce that I can't find it any where else. And whether you get the chicken Enchiladas or beef or seafood, it is still amazing! Thank you so much Juan's place for making memories and childhood special 🙏
