First I want to point out that one of the reviews of this company was written by Steve Walden, the owner. It's great that he gives himself five stars, but I guess he doesn't have enough faith that he can get good ratings from customers. It makes me wonder how many of the positive reviews are from his family and employees. I originally dealt with David, the salesperson, who was a decent person. I hadn't scheduled when my roof would be done when I got a text from David saying that he was leaving Chisholm Trail, and that Steve Walden, the owner, would be my contact. I made four phone calls, trying to get this scheduled. His staff couldn't tell me any thing other than what week they would be there. I wanted to know which day so that I could get my pets out of the house. I wasn't able to do that, because he never returned my four phone calls. His office manager told me that he wasn't returning my phone calls because I wouldn't need to be here when they are doing the roofing, so I didn't need to know when they would be here. During the phone call I also wanted to make sure that they knew I wanted the gutters extended from where they were originally on the house. He never returned my phone calls, and they actually "forgot" that they were supposed to do my gutters. I found his cell phone number, and called that to find out why they had taken the dumpster and most of the materials and appeared to be gone without doing the gutters. He did not call me back until a week later, after my insurance company tracked him down. He blamed everything on "communication problems" and his staff. He said that he hadn't returned my call to his cell phone because he had been somewhere for a long time where there was absolutely no cell service. I paid my deductible, my insurance company paid him, and I was just happy that I would never have to deal with him again. It turns out that he had actually hired a subcontractor to roof my house and then did not pay the subcontractor. So now the subcontractor has filed a lien against my house so he can be paid. It's for a few thousand dollars, and I may have to sue Walden, even though I doubt he has any money.Really this has been one of the worst experiences of my life.

Jeff Bell has been great to work with. There were issues with subcontractors but he took care of them in a timely manner, always communicated and issues were corrected with quality work. I will work with them again in the future.
