I brought my 1989 Chevy K1500 in today — yep, you read that right — and as you can imagine, it’s not your average “plug it into a scanner” kind of vehicle. This truck takes real mechanical skill and experience. That’s exactly what I got at Roy Rump & Sons. Darrell was my Service Advisor, and he was laid-back, easy to talk to, and actually took the time to listen to me and my concerns. No rush, no pressure — just genuine care and professionalism. My truck was in for two days, as their senior tech was out sick for a day — no problem at all, I appreciated the transparency. What really blew me away was the digital inspection report they sent me. It included photos and detailed explanations — I’ve never seen anything that thorough, not even at high-end dealerships with brand new vehicles. The repairs were done properly, my truck runs better than it has in years, and the price? Totally fair. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back. Roy Rump & Sons has earned my trust.
