The care team has helped me tremendously. The staff here have been family to me, and now I have the right attitude to become a better man. Thank you so much to the nurses, CNAs, and Dr. Olson. The therapists, Physical therapy and occupational therapy have been outstanding.

I am currently a patient at kindred hospital Chicago North and the care here is absolutely fantastic. The nursing staff has been very professional and just overall very caring and compassionate people. A few Nurses specifically like Laura, Yvette, Garret, Muriel, Abdul have gone above and beyond to make me get through this difficult time. Also, Dr. Al and the Drs in the infectious team are doing a great job at figuring out my current health condition. I’m very lucky and blessed to have landed here.

Our family’s experience with the acute inpatient psychiatric unit was devastating. Communication was extremely poor, and staff repeatedly dismissed our concerns that our loved one — a mom, wife, daughter, sister, and store manager — was not back to her baseline. Despite our warnings, she was discharged while still hallucinating and is now worse than when she was admitted, even ending up on the streets. This level of care is unacceptable, and families deserve to be heard and included in treatment decisions.
