I am a professional pianist, and I came to Kinesis because I was experiencing difficulty with my posture at the keyboard and pain in the hamstrings, hips, shoulders, and neck. Ryan watched videos of my performances and observed my movements in person to give me recommendations to change how I sit at the piano and gave me postural realignment and strength exercises. Since I visited Kinesis, I’ve been experiencing steady improvement in the comfort and ease of my playing. Ryan was wonderful to work with- he is a great listener and always patient and kind. He explained things clearly and always checked to make sure I understood what he was telling me. I also appreciated that he didn’t treat my posture as some huge problem that needed drastic solutions to fix- he just accepted me where I was and gave me achievable and realistic ways to make things better.
