Kwik Fit - Colchester

Kwik fit is always extremely busy. Whilst the staff, especially the manager are extremely busy they are helpful and pleasant despite the obvious pressure they are under. You can no longer just drive in, you definitely need to book an appointment, even for tyres.. I'd like to thank the manager personally for his assistance in helping me solve my tyre problem on my BMW.

Jake went above and beyond to help get our car back on the road quickly. Despite us dropping in with an emergency, and it clearly being a very busy Saturday, he kept us updated as to what we could expect, and when by. He was upfront, polite and the information he provided helped us make the right decision given that we were on holiday in the area and with a long drive back home the same day. We were able to enjoy our day in Colchester, thanks Jake!

I was genuinely nervous about coming to Kwik Fit Colchester today because I haven’t always had the best experience there in the past. Previously, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and it made me anxious about returning. Today was completely different, and that’s thanks to Jake. I have a disability that isn’t visible, and because of that I often worry about being judged or misunderstood. Jake was kind, calm and respectful from the moment I arrived. He spoke to me like a person, not a problem, and made me feel completely at ease. He explained everything clearly and even pointed out nearby places in case I needed food. I struggle to walk long distances, so I stayed in the waiting area, which felt relaxed and welcoming! such a positive change from before. The other mechanics were also polite and friendly. Jake genuinely changed my perception of this branch. Thank you.
