If you want a salon that refuses to own up to its mistakes, look no further! My hair was completely ruined here, and they refused to accommodate me when I asked for a fix. I get that policies exist, but when a customer has proof and a valid reason for not coming in immediately, you should at least be willing to LOOK at pictures. They wouldn’t. Had to pay out of pocket to get my hair fixed somewhere else. Absolutely unacceptable.

Bad hair can be fixed, but bad customer service? Unforgivable. Not only did they ruin my hair, but they refused to take any accountability. I couldn’t come in right away due to a personal emergency, so I asked to send pictures instead. They refused! How is that good service? I had to spend even more money fixing their mistake at another salon. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Worst experience. The lady who cut my hair didn't even have her tools in a sanitary picture. Then proceeded to cut my hair completely different than what I had asked. To then tell me I should have asked for side bangs. Which is exactly what I asked for and showed her a picture. Proceed to show me her picture, even after telling her that's not what I wanted. So upset, took forever to grow my hair out. Completely uneven.

I went to La Cupola Hair and Nails in South Common Mall to get my thick 4C hair done by a lady named Andrea. Before booking, we asked her three times if she was sure she could handle it, and each time she said yes. On the day of the appointment, we arrived early, and everything started fine. But once she began working, Andrea started getting overwhelmed and asked my mom to come back because she was stressed and had other clients. My mom reminded her that we came specifically because she said she could manage the job. Even the manager told her to take her time, yet she still rushed and barely straightened my hair properly. In the end, Andrea was kind, but if she couldn’t handle my hair, she should’ve just been honest from the start.
