Steve TakataLa Mission has excellent Mexican food with big portions. You would never know from looking at it because it looks like a fast food Mexican restaurant that has been renovated, in fact, long ago, it used to be other places. I wish they had more seating inside, there’s only enough room for maybe 10 people, and outside is usually too cold in Berkeley to go and hang out. But there is a lot of outdoor seating if the weather is decent. While everything I’ve had here has been good, the Baja fish taco might be my favorite. The posole is also good, but the portion is so huge. I felt like it was enough for five people. I wish the inside of the restaurant or a little bit warmer, but on the other hand, it stays open later than almost any place else around that has decent food.

Arya CokicGot a ceviche with nachos, one Baja fish taco, and a horchata. The doordash delivery came fast. GREAT horchata, and pretty large too! The fish was crunchy and delicious, the shrimp was super plump, and the nachos were so crunchy and well seasoned. Awesome food!
