I recently visited Lab Aid Cancer Hospital, and while the first impression was quite impressive — clean surroundings, a spacious and modern interior that almost feels like a luxury hotel — the overall experience left me quite disappointed. Despite the promising outlook, the service quality doesn't quite match up. The registration process itself felt like an unnecessary hassle, especially with a surprisingly high registration fee of BDT 500. On top of that, consultation fees are unreasonably expensive — BDT 1500 to 2000 — even for a simple report check. What’s more frustrating is the inconsistency in their appointment system. I was given a serial number during booking, but at the hospital, I was told it's “first come, first served.” Then why give a serial at all? I ended up wasting hours just waiting. The staff, sadly, seemed poorly trained and often unhelpful. There was a lack of coordination and professionalism in their approach. It honestly didn’t feel like the kind of care and service you expect from a hospital dealing with something as serious as cancer. Another concerning issue is the pricing of medicines. They charge noticeably higher than other reputed hospitals — sometimes 10–15% more — and you’re not even allowed to buy medicines from outside. This kind of restriction doesn’t feel patient-friendly at all. It feels more commercial than compassionate. I truly hope Lab Aid takes these issues seriously. The infrastructure and potential are there — now it’s time to focus on what really matters: patient care, staff training, and ethical pricing.

Nice environment inside. Well maintained clear. This is my first time. Went for health check-up. They treated nicely. Satisfied with behavior. Get proper guide line from the hospital person.

If you can consider the spaciousness and cleanliness, well you can count it as an 3star or 4star hotel But when it comes to the service, well not up to the mark Also some bizarre expenses.... You need to pay BDT 500 just for hospital registration!!!!! Along with the 1500bdt doctor fee, How ridiculous!!! Even some of the top hospitals in Dhaka never wants any registration money.... And the staffs!! The most undisciplined ones. I guess they dont have any proper training. When I booked a serial for my patient, I got a serial number. But when I came to the doctors room, they told me they will call by first come first serve process. Then what is the point of serial number and appointment time??? Wasted half of my day.... Seems more like a money sucking business institution rather than a hospital.

Worst service by the receptionist Mr Fahim Uddin. Such inefficient. He took 1 hour to book for PET scan. Everyone is really disappointed. Pls change him
