Cassy was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of our beverages and was a really fantastic bartender - full of witty banter and solid advice - as a good bartender should be! The chicken wings really are deadly here - had the TKO and the Thai Domi (both on Cassy’s recommendation) and they were both EXCELLENT. Ended up talking to the cook (Adam) and it’s clear he’s really committed to the craft and cares about the food he serves - which is always awesome. Definitely worth going to if you’re in the neighbourhood.

I just had a fantastic experience at Lake and Spruce, and it was all thanks to our server, Tykara. Honestly, she was exceptional. Tykara is the definition of a hard worker. I truly think she was the hardest working employee I saw in the entire place—she can absolutely handle her own and keep everything running smoothly. No matter how busy or how needy some tables got, she was great with everyone, always staying patient and on top of things. Management, please take note: This server deserves a raise, better sections, and/or better shifts! She's a top-tier employee and a real asset to your team. As for the rest of the experience: the food was good. It came out pretty quickly, was hot, and perfectly edible. The only hiccup was the drink service, which took a while, but the bar was totally slammed with people seated at it, so that's understandable.

Would have given one star if not for the wonderful waitress that served us, unfortunately food was negative 3 stars. I ordered wings because some co-workers hyped the heck out of this place for wings. Wife ordered a very basic dish fettuccine alfredo. Wings were definitely over cooked and rubbery, and saturated with burnt oil and the sauces/seasonings were nothing to special. Perhaps the reason for my disappointment is that my expectations were so high from the hype. If you are coming here expecting "the best wings in Thunder bay" turn around and try some other place. Wife's fettuccine was a disaster. The noodles were all stuck together/bundled and overcooked. Sauce tasted like something that came out of a premade powdered mix package. Its like they heated up a couple microwave Michelina's and dumped it on a plate. She didn't finish her plate, nor was I interested in eating any of it. Left here feeling robbed, won't return again.

Super delicious and food are fresh. We ordered the 2 burgers on the menu, both recommended, chicken wings are super tender, well marinated, and the sauce that the waiters recommended is fabulous. Except for the kids' pasta, not enough tomato sauce, it looks pale. I don't feel like trying it. Overall, it's worth it.
