As a child I never wanted to go to the dentist, now I actually look forward to going. That’s because Dr. Larson, Dr. Slaughter, and their dental assistants are the absolute best ever. Friendly staff, State-of-the-Art technology/facility, and prompt, on-time appointments so there’s never a long wait. Thanks Lake Guntersville Dentistry

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ You no longer have an excuse not to go to the dentist. I've despised going to the dentist since childhood. As an adult I usually only go in for the obvious " This hurts!". I showed up to Lake Guntersville Dentistry in a moment of " This really (insert coarse language here) HURTS!!" As soon as Doctor Matt Slaughter said you're going to need a root canal my brain screamed " Run!" and if I wasn't in so much pain, I would have. I am so grateful that I stayed and met my new dentist and his amazing staff. Big shout out to Amanda! Thanks for comforting me and calming me down during the procedure. Matt and his team meet you where you are with your oral hygiene with no shame or judgement. Whether you're someone who flosses 4 times a day and has a toothbrush within arms reach at all times or the last time you flossed the dentist was actually with you and your favorite 2 teeth are the ones you have left, I guarantee that you will be treated like a family member. Don't believe me? Read the other reviews. I agree with another post, they are setting a professional benchmark for customer service and genuine interaction. Think Chick-Fil-A kindness, efficiency and professionalism except dentistry. My procedure was on a Thursday and before I left Dr. Slaughter gave me his personal cell number and encouraged me to call if I had any issues over the weekend. He even texted me during his family vacation to make sure I was healing okay. Seriously? Above and beyond. Let's face it, dental insurance is a racket and barely covers anything anymore. If you have to use your insurance and possibly still come out of pocket, Why not do it in a clean, professional, positive, fun, faith based office that makes you feel comfortable and doesn't charge ridiculous, gouging prices for basic procedures? ( Yes, I'm talking to you Aspen Dental. Take notes.) If you're looking for a dentist or unsatisfied with your current provider, give Lake Guntersville Dentistry a call. I have finally found a dentist and a team that I trust to jam sharp, metal, implements of destruction into my mouth. I'm actually looking forward to going back and getting a new routine around my oral care. Dr. Slaughter and the entire staff are "Good People", enough written.
