Doctors and nurses are fantastic at every location unfortunately the issues are shared among each location as well in that the reception frequency doesn’t know what they are doing or do they work in a timely manner. I sent in a records request and it took me calling a month later to find out they needed more information other than the form I filled out yet didn’t call me prior forcing me to go to my appointment. I feel like it was an intentional way of forcing me to receive care from this overpriced service as they know I do not have access to any health care until then because of them canceling appointments on me last minute. Which they did twice. I wish I could charge a $350 canceling fee like ya’ll since I actually do miss out on $350 each time I take off work for an appointment.

I have only been to one appointment. Only problem was finding the office. GPS said “you have arrived” but there was Gentec, no Lifestance sign any where. Need to let first time folks know it is in the OSF bldg. on Empire St. whose name is not obvious from the road. Since I was a 9:00 a.m. appointment, when I called at 8:45 ( that is when I was asked to show up) the auto operator said the office was closed. I snuck a call as a provider and got through to someone who helped, but even then the signage was small. Fortunately the OSF folks guided me to the right place.

I wish there was a zero star option. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. My therapist was not the issue, I had a great experience with them. The billing department is where the issues lie. Please NEVER EVER put a card on file - if you have one on file, PLEASE reach out to your insurance company ASAP and have them audit any and ALL visits you have made here and then take your card off immediately! BTW you can't take your card off by yourself. You have to call them or literally cancel the card altogether. A random $450 charge from Lifestance (after I was no longer a patient) led my insurance to take a deeper look into the billing here and it is SKETCHY. I am still trying to get it straightened out 3 months later. They are consistently RUDE to myself AND my insurance company when we call - they have literally HUNG UP on my agent, refused to release pertinent information to my insurance company, they have given me all types of different excuses and answers about charges on my account. They are never ever on the same page and it is truly some different story or excuse every single time. I cannot stress enough how BLATANTLY difficult they have been in the process of getting my billing corrected!!! I find it no coincidence that they have recently updated their terms and conditions to say they are 'not responsible for mistakes posted on your patient portal including billing' which I will not be accepting - SKETCHY!! Please please use caution, look into your billing right now with your insurance, and question every SINGLE thing they send your way. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
