Psychiatrist (Dr. Richard Logan) was very rude and dismissive during the first appointment. After asking for my history (I have a very long treatment and trauma history) he said that I had pressured speech (he asked me a question with a long answer!) he also said that I "had a lot going on" yeah no shit dude that's why I'm here. Very rude, very dismissive, made several back handed comments throughout the session and then demonstrated the observational skills of an eraser with a diagnosis that none of my other mental health practitioners have ever even suggested (because he was misdiagnosing me). I have a long standing documented medical history going back the last 8 years that he fully disregarded to deliver his theory of what's wrong with me out of whole cloth, after knowing me for maybe 15 minutes. If he were to actually prescribe me medications for the disorders he suggested, it could seriously damage my brain. I met with my Psychiatrist prior to meeting with him- she made no mention that I was acting out of sorts in any way- I was just the last patient of the day and he clearly wanted to get out of there quickly. He rushed the appointment, missed several key details when we spoke, paraphrased incorrectly several leading to me having to correct him, disregarded my present life circumstances (car accident, hospitalization for illness, losing job, getting into his offoce after a two hour car ride), disregarded my medical history, and he failed to properly assess me before reccomending medication that was way off my expected regiment. ****Do not work with Dr. Richard Logan.**** I have a degree in psychology and have worked in the field of psychology the last 3 years. I have also interacted with many mental health professionals over the course of the last 8 years. He is just not good at what he does, unfortunately.

My doctor Amen Ugwuede is the best provider I have ever had. She has the most genuine concern and compassion for my care. She is knowledgeable and has been instrumental in getting me feeling well. The staff are all great as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Im can honestly stay I walked in feeling hopeless, but when I walked out! I felt like a million bucks! I truly was a great experience! And I look forward to working with this doctor for all things mental for a long time! Thank God for people like Dr.Amenaghawon who’s passionate about their work!
