**IMPORTANT UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW** I am currently dealing with a situation where the provider Tessa at LifeStance sent my refill in incorrectly and then later corrected but the pharmacy shows both prescriptions filled, now my next refill is due and she will not send it in because of the system showing 2 prescriptions, and then I was told she won’t send another prescription in until 30 more days, so now I will be without my prescription for 30 days after I have taken this prescription for the past 9 years I am going to be left with anxiety and withdrawal and there’s nothing more she will do. I am currently filling complaints with all the necessary Illinois medical boards. Previous review before the above incident. My previous provider and their office staff made me feel uncomfortable anytime I had a question. I searched for a new provider and came across LifeStance. Their availability was accommodating and they provided helpful steps to building out my patient portal. During my first visit with my new provider Tessa Castillo, she took the time to get to know me, including care history, the experiences I had with my previous provider, medication management, family structure, work commitments, and also set fair patient/provider expectations. Our appointments are punctual and start on time. Lastly, she always ends our appointments stressing that if anything is needed or questions about care or medication arise don’t hesitate to reach out immediately. Extremely grateful to have found this provider and office, 10/10 strongly recommended.

Do Not Recommend. Can’t believe the experience I just had with this place. I was a new patient, arriving for my first appointment. Upon arrival, I was asked to complete a variety of paperwork where I shared personal and confidential information, provided my credit card and ID, only to wait 30 minutes in their lobby and THEN be told my therapist was “MIA” and that I’d need to come back another time. WHAT??!! If she wasn’t even there to begin with, why would I have not been told that information PRIOR to collecting all of my personal and confidential information, and asking me to sign a variety of legal documents that I’m now told they cannot delete or remove from their system?!?! There’s no way I’m going back to this place. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
