We recently had the pleasure of visiting this amazing spot, and it truly delivered on all fronts. From the moment we arrived, the charming outdoor setting created a warm and welcoming atmosphere—perfect for a sunny day out. The nachos were a standout, layered generously with flavorful toppings and just the right amount of crunch. Pairing them with a beermosa was a fantastic choice—the refreshing citrus notes complemented the snack beautifully and added a fun twist to our evening. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, they made us feel right at home and ensured we were well taken care of throughout our visit. All in all, a delightful place with great vibes, delicious food, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

We tried the Fully Loaded Crispy Potatoes, Spicy Chicken Quesadilla, Ahi Tuna Poké Bowl (with tofu), Blackened Chicken Curry Bowl, and Pinche Pork Tacos – all super tasty. The Spicy Guava Margarita and Pink Spritz were refreshing too. The staff were really friendly and even offered a tofu substitute for me as a vegetarian, which I really appreciated. We sat on their adorable heated patio – cozy and perfect. Can’t wait to come back for a veggie burger

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were all super friendly. The food was tasty too. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that during the one hour we were there, about six different people came to our table to ask if everything was okay. I appreciate good service, but it felt a little too much and made it hard to relax.

Best and most consistent bar/restaurant in Leaside! Hands down most consistent restaurant in the Leaside area. The drinks and food are always 10/10. For food my recommendation would include the Loaded Potato’s, Beet Hummus, and The Local Burger, also the new curry is amazing. The best drink in my opinion is the Spicy Guava it’s a must try. The service is always stellar here, we had an absolutely 1 of 1 experience last time we visited for my partners birthday. We were treated with such class, and such friendly energy, best restaurant experience we’ve had. Chirstina helped us whenever our server wasn’t around and was very nice. Mia provided and accommodated our time (my girlfriends birthday) with the most passion and integrity. Best server and service. She was very attentive and caring, she made my girlfriends birthday the best. Vicco (the assistant manager) made my girlfriends birthday truly memorable. She celebrated our experience and made us feel loved and genuinely respected. She made her birthday very special. Literally 1 of 1 service and experience, highly recommend The Local Leaside for the consistency, quality and great service. Parking lot is also great and there’s more parking around the area.
