I see My experience at the Louisiana Dental Institute (LDI) profoundly shaped the course of my life. What began as a decision to help provide for myself and my children quickly developed into a true passion for dentistry. At LDI, I gained both the technical skills and foundational knowledge to become a confident, capable dental assistant. More importantly, the program nurtured my personal and professional growth, giving me the drive to continue advancing in the field. The passion for dentistry that was sparked during my education at LDI has inspired me to pursue further studies, and I am now continuing my academic journey in Pre-Dental Hygiene at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

My experience at the Louisiana Dental Institute (LDI) was truly life-changing. LDI not only guided me into the dental field but also deepened my understanding of the importance of oral hygiene. What began as "something new" quickly evolved into a passion for dentistry and a desire to contribute to changing lives and saving smiles every day. Thanks to completing the LDI program, I secured a position at a dental office less than a week after graduating. Once I started, I was genuinely surprised by how much dental knowledge I had retained from both the hands-on and lecture training. I can confidently say that I would not be where I am in my career today without this program.

I truly loved going through Louisiana Dental Institute! I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school, until one day I took a tour of the office and signed up and fell in love with dentistry. The people, patients, and doctors that I work with make it feel like family and home. I can’t wait to keep persuing my career as a dental assistant and passion for dentistry!
