My recent experience with MacBack was fantastic, despite being weary of the negative reviews. I sent my 10 year old mac and was quoted £51, nowhere else would pay me anything for it. In fact, I was going to have to pay to have it recycled. I was really honest with myself about its condition as although the actual computer was pristine, the cable and accessories were not. They agreed with my assessment and the money was in my account the next day. They were really responsive to email and the process with DPD was simple, if a little unnerving when the DPD driver simple tucked the box back together rather than tape it. Be armed with tape!

Avoid Macback like the plague. I sent in my pristine 16" i9 and they tried to pretend it was all scratched up, almost halving the valuation. I refused the offer and they sent it back IN A PLASTIC BAG so the box was badly damaged when it arrived. Chancers.

MacBack are dishonest and untrustworthy. After revising their quote to a ridiculously low amount on receipt of my laptop, I rejected their offer. When I received my laptop back, the operating system had been left in an unusable state (as verified by Apple) and they failed to return my charger plug (image below). After a month’s worth of email exchange, they are still unable to return my charger plug or reply to my emails. Completely agree with other reviewers who gave MacBack one star - stay well away from MacBack.

Don’t trust them! I used my new iMac 2017 for almost one year. They offered me a price for my iMac and after they collect it and check it they said that they found scratches on the screen and a bend to the stand witch it’s not true because I was making sure to check everything and make some photo to my iMac before send it. I refused the offer and they sent it back. They also said that they found some chips at the front edge, witch It didn’t had it before to send it!
