I just wanted to share my experience working with Magnum York. I had the pleasure of working with my property manager, Vickram, and technician, Dan. Both of them were excellent! Vickram not only supported me with building and maintenance requests, always arranging everything quickly ,but he also helped me with the contract for my flat. He made sure everything was ready and completed on time, which I truly appreciated. Dan, on the other hand, always fixed any issues in a perfect and professional way. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and thankful for all the support I’ve received.

1-star Negligent, Unprofessional, and Allowing Harassment — Not Worth the Discount I’ve been a tenant in a building managed by Magnum York, and I would strongly warn others — this company is not only incompetent, but irresponsible and dismissive in the face of serious issues, including personal harassment. In 2018, due to their internal mismanagement, they mishandled a payment and falsely claimed I hadn’t paid a special assessment — even though I had clear proof from my bank. Their mistake caused my mortgage to fall into arrears, and it took months of stress and follow-up before they finally issued the refund. That alone should disqualify them from managing any property. But the problems didn’t stop. More recently, I’ve personally experienced harassment in shared building spaces, including altercations in the gym and abusive behavior from other tenants. I’ve reported this to Magnum York multiple times. Their response? Silence or vague deflections. No investigation, no consequences, no protection for tenants. Even clear violations like other tenants repeatedly leaving AC or TVs on full blast unattended go completely ignored. I’ve requested documentation, sanctions, and board communication — again, nothing. This company turns a blind eye to hostile behavior and fails to enforce even the most basic rules. Yes, they may cost less than other management companies. But what’s the cost of your safety, your peace of mind, and your financial well-being? Magnum York is not just unprofessional — they’re dangerously negligent. Stay away.
