After just moving downtown, I discovered this shop and I will be back. After days of looking for an outfit for a backyard wedding, I came here and found something within 20 minutes. The owner of the shop is lovely and very helpful. While I was there, there were several customers who they knew by name so obviously have regular clientele.

I have been a client of Escape Women‘s Store for many years. It‘s always a pleasure to visit the store. They have a wonderful selection of clothing and the staff is friendly and very helpful. On my recent visit I noticed the mention of face masks. I appreciated this as I have members in my circle who are immune compromised and I am very conscious of staying safe for them.

It's been almost 2 months since the mask mandates have been lifted in Ontario and this store is not only posting a request in the door for patrons to wear a mask but they also harass clients as they walk in if they don't have one. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is clear that Escape has a complete disregard for provincial health recommendations and city by-laws. The lady was also rude to me when I expressed my discontent about her oppressive expectations. I will never walk into this store again. I do not support this kind of discrimination.

Escape has a great selection of clothing and as importantly very helpful staff who work there. The store and the people who work here are terrific. Thank you for keeping us all safe. Really appreciate the signage up front re preferring masking at this time! Thanks!
