I would say that the food will vary a lot based on what you get and how you get it. For take out I would advise against anything fried as it will often be cold by the time you get home and never taste the same - especially true with the fish and chips - very oily mess I have ordered in the past. The beer is good and cheap, and the burgers are great on Thursday for $13 (used to be $10-11? but thats inflation for you) as opposed to their normal price of $19 (honestly not a terrible price for the burger but Thursday's are value) Inside could use a deep clean as all pubs can, but if you like that then you will love it here.

Great place, great food, never had a bad experience. The menu changes often, offering a refreshed but familiar selection - I wish they would bring the steak frites back! The delivery/pick up times can be long but service in-house never disappoints.

Absolute fantastic experience having my father’s celebration of life at Malt & Barley. Communication from beginning to end was easy and they were amazing during the event. Folks loved the platters of food served and the environment. What a great place with warm, down- to- earth staff. Thanks for having us!

Went out with friends last night and the Malt and Barely was suggested. We were curious and went. Unfortunately I did not get our server's name but she was fabulous (long curly hair). I asked for a sample of one of the beers. No hesitation,she just made it happen. I ordered the pork schnitzel. When the food came out and I tasted the gravy it sent me back to my grandmothers dining room table. I locked the Gracey bowl. The food was awesome, I had the sticky Toffee pudding for the dessert. I would highly recommend this Pub. Great atmosphere, great staff and amazing food. Did not disappoint. 4th time back Kez was our sever, great personality super fun and made us feel right at home. Was able to share knowledge of the dishes accurately. The food was great again. I had 2lbs of wings and a bowl of onion rings, my wife ordered the schnitzel. Everything has been great. They make the best onion rings ever. No grease, just a crisp perfectly cook ring. The schnitzel with Mashed and gravy is some of the best cooked. Thanks again for another great experience from an out of towner. When will you put a place in London?
