Customer experiences
Do not order from here. We ordered 3 meals, & each one of them were absolutely awful quality. Stale, cold & did NOT match the description. The Mac & cheese I ordered came & were essentially plain noodles with half melted cheese in the middle- absolutely disgusting.
I ordered the French onion soup and garlic bread and my husband got the chicken sandwich with fries. He enjoyed the sandwich but the fries tasted like they had been cooked from frozen and not fresh cut. I hunted all over the city for French onion soup so was very excited to try it. It looked great but was inedible. So very salty that I could only eat a bit of it!!! The garlic bread was a sliced up bun and also very disappointing, with the most lacklustre garnish I have ever seen lol. The bread tasted very salty as well and seemed fried on top leaving the rest of the bun untoasted. The waitress took 20% off our bill which was nice of her but considering that I couldnāt eat what I had ordered maybe not so great. Also, I would classify this as a sports bar, not a pub. Iām sure it has many other delicious food offerings. Please donāt hesitate to come and try them.
My daughter and I came to the Maple Moose Pub after we went shopping downtown. It was a humid and rainy day so it was nice to get into the AC. This place is beautifully decorated for a sports pub. It has beautiful high ceiling with Edison lights, brick accents and TVs playing sports (but are subtle). There is a VIP lounge at the top of the stairs. Clean washrooms and large windows that offer a lot of natural lighting. We ordered a wonderful arrangement of food and the waitress did a wonderful job! She even had great recommendations for us as we were so hungry that we couldnāt decide!
Maple Moose Pub š« I had dinner at Maple Moose Pub and it was such a great spot for a chill evening with Kamsiš„°. Cozy downtown vibes, not too crowded, good ventilation, beautiful decoration, and the lighting was just right! I got the Beef Dip Sandwich and oh my⦠š¤¤. Shaved roast beef on a Vienna loaf with Jack cheese, crispy onions, and garlic aioli, served with a very flavourful āau jusā dip. At first glance, I was a bit worried that the beef might be dry, but a dip in the au jus took it to another level ā rich, tasty, and paired perfectly with the sandwich. The house salad was fresh and crunchy, adding a nice balance to the dish. For $19.21 (tax included), I honestly couldnāt ask for more. Plus, our server Megan was friendly, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes! Kamsi got a burger š and fries, and liked it, but I didnāt taste because I was a little too full from my meal. Honestly, I wouldnāt change a thing about the meal. I usually like my dishes peppery, but I understand not everything can be that way š. This place is definitely one I can return to. Good food, good vibes, and fair pricing. (Iāve had this in my drafts since end of June and just had to post now because I woke up craving the sandwich by 3am š).
