Judy BaikUdon and tempura were very good! However i didn’t really like the chicken curry bowl that much. Curry had its own unique taste, which was not what I expected, and there were only 4-5 small pieces of chicken. The store was kind of loud so the workers could not understand what I was saying and I could not understand what the workers were saying as well🥲 But I liked how they made the to-go boxes and bowls outside where customers can pack on their own! I am not sure if i would come again though.
R HGreat place for a taste of authentic Japanese udon. Spacious inside and efficient service too. Food quality is on par (or even better) than other Marugame Udon restaurants I tried in other countries. At the time (Jan 2025) when I visited the restaurant, there was roadwork at Shattuck, so you may have to park elsewhere.

Freeman LoFantastic Udon Noodles ! It’s a self-service indoor dining establishment with additional items you can select. Items such as fried Tempora , fish cakes, and additional udon noodles and BBQ pork. Pretty much street parking if you can find a parking space during the weekdays. I ordered the nikutama w/beef.thought of getting the curry Nikutama instead for a second. It’s all pretty good overall, you can’t possibly pick a bad entree.
