I'll admit the front desk was professional, but it ended there. One year ago, I needed my upper teeth removed and got an upper denture made. Impressions were made at multiple stages. Before and after the teeth were removed. But when my final came in, as you can see. It looked and fitted like it had been created by a child with play doh. The dentist's thumb print pressed into the the wad. You can even see fingerprints in the resin near the teeth. Oh yeah. The dentist never had me look at a tooth color chart to select my color. Since this was my first time getting dentures, I felt like I was rushed thru. I went back for refitting.. well, they still don't work without massive amounts of denture bond. Very uncomfortable to wear, pop out of place when talking. It's only good to throw in to get a photo when needed. Yesterday, I went to another dentist in the area, new x-rays were done, and was told that I have enough bone to do pop ins that MassAve said I didn't have enough bone. I'm getting impressions done today and dental work next week. New dentures on the way! (Smile) So read reviews first, save money.

Mass Ave Dental is the best dentist that I’ve ever had of the 7 dentists I’ve had in my lifetime. I’m a Mass Health patient who’s disabled and I’m so glad I found this office. When I became a patient about 3 months ago I hadn’t seen a dentist in about 4 years so a lot of work was needed. First they did a deep cleaning with a full set of X-rays to figure out what we were dealing with. The treatment plan consisted of 7 crowns and about 20 fillings and the proposed cost was about 18K. Before they did any work they verified that everything I needed would be covered fully by Mass Health and I was so grateful that everything was because I was able to go into the office with confidence that I wouldn’t have to pay anything towards this massive bill. I had the same dentist for 6 appointment in a row over 6 weeks and once those appointments were done my mouth was literally rebuilt and looked like all of my teeth were new. The best part about this office is that they have a machine that makes the new crowns while you wait so you don’t have to put temporary crowns on and come back double the amount of times to have the permanents put on. Overall I got a new smile which I love at zero cost and even though I was a Mass Health patient I was treated with the utmost respect and care and I couldn’t recommend this office and their doctors and staff enough. I have been having problems with service at Mass Ave dental. I have been a patient for many years. After seeing me as a walk-in today, I complained about the past service, the office manager cornered me after the Dr. saw me, and said, the last time I was there, I called one of the desk people stupid. Which is a straight out lie, or I would have been kicked out then. Don't you think? I just could not wait with this pain any longer. The reason they do not want to see me is that I have been back too many times to count, for the same problem since December, 8 months now. My neck hurts, jaw, tooth, I have never been in so much pain for so long. So, now I still have a problem they caused, and they do not want me back there. I will never trust them again! The office manager said, we are ending your care, I said I'm getting a lawyer!" The office manager said to go ahead. This is the day and age we live in. There are other dentists in the area that have better ratings. Look at the low ratings, and if you read more of the low ratings, you'll notice a pattern. Like others, I also, have had similar problems, with billing, insurance, and payments. They fix it, but with an attitude, like the problem they caused is you, because of you, bringing it up to them! I should have left them years ago! OMG, I'm in so much pain, and it's worst than it was!
