The massage from Sarah was great. She listened attentively and tailored the massage. She checked in about the level of pressure and how I was feeling. It was relaxing, and at the end, Sarah suggested an exercise. The receptionist was very sweet and efficient, and had the direct billing already completed by the time my massage was done. It was a great experience!

I recently received 2 massages from Frank at Ottawa's Massage Addict shop on Bank Street. I arrived with severe pain across my upper back, shoulders and neck---In the first massage he was able to get rid of most of the pain, all except one remnant around my upper left side. The second massage completely finished the job! He seemed to press out the tension with very firm but gentle moves. Highly recommended.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place! I had an absolutely horrible experience at Massage Addict, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I booked a session with a therapist named Vera Chen, expecting a relaxing and therapeutic massage. Instead, the entire session was painful and uncomfortable — it felt more like I was being punished than helped. I communicated my discomfort multiple times, but nothing improved. Afterwards, I contacted them to express my concerns and request a refund or at least some kind of solution. Their response? No refund, no complementary service — just a $20 discount on another treatment, which is laughable considering that’s already advertised on their website as a general promo. So basically, nothing. No accountability whatsoever. Customer care was dismissive and clearly more interested in protecting their policy than actually addressing what happened. A massage is supposed to be healing — not traumatizing. Save your time and money, and go somewhere that actually values your well-being.

Went in for a deep tissue massage with Nick today. The pressure he used was even softer than my last relaxation massage and there was nothing relaxing about it. I asked him to use more pressure as I booked this after marathon weekend to get some of the stiffness out, but I walked out feeling the same as I did going in. I pointed out specific areas for him to focus on and he didn’t even get to some of them. He never checked in about how it was going and the overall environment here is not very luxurious or relaxing for what you’d expect of a $130 massage. Would not recommend.
