I've now used Protyre a couple of times and whilst the first time all went to plan, I'd booked an 8.30am slot for two tyres to be supplied and fitted and by 9am I came back and the car was ready, this time wasn't great. Again I booked an 8.30am slot for two tyres to be fitted, arrived and dropped the car off by 8.10 so in ample time, and told the person I dealt with that I'd come back around 9am, which was agreed. I arrived back just after 9am to see our car still in the workshop and assumed it was nearly finished so sat in the reception where I was completely ignored by all 3 staff members chatting behind the counter, then at around 9.10 I noticed the car being jacked up....... the job hadn't even been started! No explanation, no acknowledgement of my presence. This carried on until around 9.50am when I was grunted at that my car was ready and 'thanks for my patience', but no apology and still no explanation. So overall a very poor experience for me this time.
We have used this garage for our yearly MOT on our VW Up! For the past three years. They are decent, honest guys that never overcharge, Jamie and his team have always done a decent job and squeezed our car in when we have needed to get it repaired even during busy times.
