Andrew PetrieMy brakes failed whilst I was staying in Wells and I needed the car on the road again quickly. The staff at Bowley's were really helpful and were able to take my car in at short notice despite me not having a booking. They got it done around their other work and were able to get me back on the road again the next day. The price was perfectly reasonable for the work done and the parts needing replaced. I was very happy with it.
Maximus DecimusAbsolutely fantastic service from the team at Bowley’s. Our fan belt went on the way to Glastonbury 2024 as we were driving down on the Tuesday evening. Parked up past midnight in the car park and spoke to them at 08:00 Wednesday morning to see if they could fix it by the end of the festival the following Monday. (Even though they were closed Friday / Monday due to clogged up local roads and difficulties of getting parts!) so effectively only Wednesday and Thursday to sort it. They made no promises but said they would try their best. We left for the festival and crossed our fingers. Anyway roll forward to around 15:00 and I get a call from the receptionist who was lovely but recall her name now, saying the car was fixed and ready to go! So we were able to drive home Monday morning no issues. Can’t thank the team enough, really went above and beyond to help get us home. And very reasonable price considering the turnaround time. Thank you!!
Derek WyattWent to Bowley's garage whilst visiting Wells, had a couple of problems with the car which needed immediate attention before my 5 hour journey home, my brother recommended Bowley's which is the garage he uses all the time, even though they were fully booked, I told the receptionist my problems I was having she immediately talked to the owner who came out to look at my car, diagnosed the problems on the spot sorted out a new battery then proceeded to mend the locking mechanism as I was only able to unlock the drivers door, none of the other doors would open unfortunately my disabled wife couldn't get out of the car. From talking to the receptionist who didn't just dismiss my problem to the mechanic who sorted out the car it is the best service i have ever had, they took the trouble to help very professional and willing I only wish it was my local garage I highly recommend them, totally caring, professional and good people. If you live in the Wells area they would be my number one choice for any car repairs
